Counseling Tennessee

I’m Dylan Greene. Let’s find your way back to hope.

Licensed Counselor & Trauma Survivor helping men navigate addiction, anxiety, and the journey toward healing.

My Story

I mysteriously became ill during COVID.

My body and mind failed me.

My thoughts blurred. My eyes grew foggy.

Work became impossible. My legs would fail to hold my weight.

As years passed, I knew if nothing changed, I would die.

I know what it’s like to be lost, to wander through a storm without a map.

That season taught me the value of healing, and why sometimes, even the STRONG need a hand.

I left behind a very successful career to help people who want a better life and need help to get there.

I know what it’s like to wonder if it’s the right time to go to therapy.

To feel the swirl of emotions.

I’m a survivor of trauma.

I’ve been there.

I remember the first time I opened up about the sexual abuse I experienced.

It was hard. Terrifying, even.

But it was a step I needed to take.

A step toward healing.

I get you.

That quiet voice inside knows life can be more than just surviving.

I’m here to remind you of that.

To walk with you.

To point toward hope.

A Little About Who I Am

I’m imperfect and also a man of deep faith, a Christian. It helps me stay grounded and hopeful — and I try to share that hope with anyone and everyone.I try to find reasons to smile when it’s awkward and crack jokes even if they’re dumb; because what’s life if we don’t smile?

You don’t have to do this alone. I’ve got your back.

I know what it’s like when you’re starting to think about therapy. It never feels like the “right time,” and the swirl of emotions can be overwhelming. As a survivor of trauma myself, I remember the fear of opening up. But I also know the freedom that comes from healing.

I’ve spent years mastering evidence-based therapy and trauma-informed care to reduce the shame and self-doubt that hold you back.

Q. Do you offer counseling for concerns related to pornography use?

Yes. We provide a safe, non-judgmental space to explore concerns around pornography use, including habits that feel compulsive, conflict with personal values, or impact relationships and mental health.

While “porn addiction” is not formally classified in all diagnostic manuals, many people experience problematic sexual behaviors that cause distress. Therapy focuses on understanding patterns, triggers, and developing healthier coping strategies.

Absolutely. Many clients struggle with shame related to sex, desire, or past behaviors. Therapy helps unpack cultural, relational, and personal beliefs while fostering self-compassion and healthier self-understanding.

Yes. We support couples navigating trust issues, mismatched expectations, communication breakdowns, or emotional disconnection related to pornography or sexual concerns.

We respect each client’s personal, cultural, and spiritual values. Therapy is tailored to align with what matters most to you, without imposing any belief system.

We work with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, self-esteem issues, relationship challenges, mood disorders, and life transitions, among other concerns.

If emotional distress, persistent stress, or unhelpful patterns are affecting your daily life, relationships, or sense of well-being, therapy can be a helpful and proactive step.

Your first session focuses on understanding your concerns, goals, and background. It’s a collaborative conversation where we begin shaping a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Yes. We provide secure telehealth sessions for clients who prefer remote counseling or have scheduling or location constraints.

Therapy length varies. Some clients benefit from short-term, goal-focused work, while others prefer ongoing support. Progress is reviewed regularly to ensure therapy remains effective.

We support individuals impacted by childhood trauma, relational trauma, emotional abuse, neglect, medical trauma, accidents, and other distressing life experiences.

Symptoms may include anxiety, emotional numbness, hypervigilance, difficulty trusting others, intrusive memories, or feeling overwhelmed by certain situations.

Trauma-informed therapy prioritizes safety and pacing. You are never pushed to share more than you are ready for, and sessions are designed to promote stability and empowerment.

We may use evidence-based methods such as trauma-informed CBT, somatic techniques, mindfulness, and grounding strategies, depending on your needs and comfort level.

Yes. Trauma can affect the nervous system long after events occur. Therapy helps process these experiences and build resilience regardless of when they happened.
